If You Won Big Sums of Money Would you Have a Good or Bad Life?

A huge amount of folk in the world like to have a little gamble. But if you did win a big sum would it make your life a whole lot nicer? Or would it in fact make it a bad idea, let us take a quick look at the reasons behind both opinions.

The Great
1) It would give you unlimited financial resources. Go on holidays weekly and live a relaxing life.
2) You could buy anything you have ever dreamt of, such as your dream home and car.
3) Open a huge amount of businesses and be your own boss, be in control of employees throughout the day.

The Bad
1) Quite a few rich people become really arrogant and stuck up, simply because they think they have everything and do not need anyone.
2) They end up becoming very sad and depressed because of the fact that they have pushed every one that was close to them away, they are slowly realising that money does not buy everything and that they have made a lot of mistakes.
3) Having too much will not make you know the value of anything, when you are working class you value things such as cars etc, because when they break you will be left to fork out. But when you have a lot of cash you just do not care, basically because you know you can pop out and by a new one whenever necessary.

So finally it just goes to show that if you win big playing the lottery or rakeback then you may be happy for a little while but in the end you may end up losing the people that are closest to you in every possible way.

How I Became Rich on My Flight to America

I do travel a heck of a lot, my job has made me see the whole world. Its so amazing I get to see so many other cultures and ways of doing things. One of my main monthly tasks is to fly out to America for a few days to speak to the directors of the company. The flight can take as long as 9 hours. This really is not good for me, as I am a very energenic person that wants to be on the move all the time.

Well this time I was going to be prepared, my company pay for me to travel first class, last time I went I noticed that they had internet access, so I brought my laptop with me. After checking my email for around 30 minutes I decided why not have a little online gamble, my friend had been persuading me for weeks to join up to a rakeback site, so I did.

I evenually made my way into a poker room which did seem quite odd as I had only previously played with friends. Anyway I thought I would make the most of it. The next thing I realised was my profits were piling up I had hit some huge jackpots and I was so happy with myself for achieving this. By the time the aeroplane landed I had just made over 40k. Ok I wouldnt really class it as rich, but for 7 hours work who can complain. I will definitely be looking at going back again very promptly, iv worked out that because I go around 12 times every 12 months I could most probably rake in around just over half a million pounds.

Is Deal or No Deal Gambling? Or Just a Game of Chance

Once in a while a TV show hits our screen that blows all of the others away and the same can be said for Deal or No Deal. The show was totally unique and one that did not involve answering questions. The aim of the game is to open boxes until you whittle them down to the last two. The banker will call at regular intervals to try and buy your box off of you, most people deal at low amounts and wish they went on as they could of had considerably more.

Do not misunderstand me most people deal at exactly the correct moment and end up spanking the banker. But you have to ask yourself the question whether the show is purely about luck or the ability to be a gambler?

Well the answer in my opinion is both, Deal or No Deal is more like playing roulette than online poker, the reason for saying this is because roulette is a probability game exactly like Deal or No Deal. The chance comes in when you are selecting the boxes, if you choose the wrong boxes then you are going to end up getting low offers, but the thing about it is that if you have brought a high figure box to the table, then whatever happens you are going to end up getting an enourmous offer at the final moments.

The moment that you have to start poutting your gambling hat on is when you get big offers, you have to look at things such as probabilities and more.
